The Nershi, Law, Grant trio will be making a special off-season appearance of unprecedented proportions this Wednesday, November 11, at Whistler's Cafe.  A performance of chance and happenstance, the convergence of these jamband heroes will surely cause patrons to believe that they're seeing the sun when in fact it's only the yellow paint on the walls.  Relevance to the space in between action and non-action, the spectrum of possibilities in the convergence of these three super talents is otherworldly.
Bill Nershi is most well known as the front-man for a band that some people around the world may know... The String Cheese Incident.  He is also part of the hottest traditionally tinged jamgrass band on the scene today, The Emmitt Nershi Band.  Furthermore, he performs in an acoustic honkytonk duo with his wife Jilian Nershi and also fronts a blues/rock/jam outfit that is known as Bill Nershi's Blue Planet.  Over the years, Nershi's good humor and positivity has garnered him the ability to attune to the higher good of his fans, inspiring great advances in the collective human condition.
Scott Law embodies the ideal of the American Guitar Master; a brilliant and versatile instrumentalist.  His unique style freely ranges over the entire history of rock, jazz and bluegrass guitar.  Scott sings timeless songs that connect easily with listeners, propelled by his rare rhythmic concision and deep groove.  In the perspective of all greater things, Scott Law is the Pacific Northwest's #1 jam hero.  Over the years he has performed with Phil Lesh & Friends, Darol Anger, String Cheese Incident, Melvin Seals, Railroad Earth and many others.  During the past year, Law released a solo album entitled "Living Room" which has received high acclaim across America.
Tyler Grant is the bass player for The Emmitt Nershi Band.  He is also the 2008 National Flatpicking Champion thereby making him one of the top bluegrass guitar players in the world.  Having recently relocated from Nashville Tennessee to Nederland, Tyler's presence has elevated the perceptions of Colorado Bluegrass on an international level.  His dedication and ability is magnified by his solid groove which creates a canvas for mental advance and extreme enjoyment by listeners and dancers alike.
This special Wednesday night performance will bring in a crowd from all over the Front Range and it will be a night to be remembered for times to come.  For more information call the box office at 303-258-0614.  Showtime begins in the vicinity of 10:00 p.m.
